Founder & President
Allison Wong
Ally Wong (she/her) is a junior at the Orange County School of the Arts in the creative writing conservatory. She enjoys writing poetry and short stories about culture and identity as well as creating in other forms such as through art and technology. Through Womenwurld, she hopes to support all types of women ostracized by society. Ally has been interested in female empowerment and equality from a young age, focusing her passion projects on the female experience. She is best described as a taro smoothie, bánh hỏi, and Ocean Vuong enthusiast.

Abril Garcia
Abril Garcia (she/her) is a 17 year old Junior at the Orange County School of the Arts. She studies Creative Writing and through Womenwurld aims to spread helpful information surrounding intersectional feminism. In her free time, Abril loves to write about her Mexican heritage and experiences as a woman. She also loves cats, candles, and music!

Ava Leslie
Ava Mae Leslie (she/her) is currently a Musical Theater Student At Orange County School of the Arts. Passionate about female empowerment and education, Ava has worked on feminine activism projects such as teaming with “The Pad Project” who created the Oscar Award winning film, Period. End of Sentence. Here, she raised money screening the film, hosting a panel, and giving educational info sessions to help fund for a pad machine in India and support her all girls Middle School, Girls Academic Leadership Academy. Ava is very excited to continue helping and supporting women’s issues through Womenwurld's wonderful platform.

Katie Kim
Katie Kim (she/her) is a junior at OCSA in the creative writing conservatory. She likes prose poetry and collages and raisin cookies. In her writing, she aims to reflect the nuances of women’s experiences, and she hopes to help build a sense of community through Womenwurld.

Sophia Kim
Sophia Kim (she/her) is an 11th grader in the Creative writing Conservatory who joined OCSA in 9th grade. She loves good food, watching rom coms, and sleeping whenever she can! This year for this club, her goal is to be as involved as possible and to promote/spread the club's message through social media.

Caitlyn Mason
Caitlyn Mason (she/her) is a junior at the Orange County School of the Arts, where she is in the Creative Writing conservatory. She loves writing scripts for the stage and screen, as well as listening to Taylor Swift and Phoebe Bridgers. She has always been interested in politics and feminism, and has written for various magazines as a political or current events columnist. As a disabled woman, she is passionate not only about general gender equality, but amplifying the voices of disabled women in the feminist movement.

Aria Pathak
Aria Pathak is one of the writing directors in the Womenwurld club. Supporting individuals who menstruate and teaching others about female health has always been a topic of interest to her. She is dedicated to helping others and is always excited to learn and do more for the women in her community.

Snigdha Garud
Snigdha Garud is a rising senior in high school, and is based in Pennsylvania. As a POC woman, Snigdha is a strong advocate of women in STEM and is passionate about female empowerment. Snigdha also loves writing, and edits for multiple literary magazines. In her free time, when not writing, Snigdha can be found watching sunrises, sunsets, and everything in between.

Ciel Mitrovich
Ciel Mitrovich, (pronounced like CL) 10th grade, Visual Arts Conservatory, is a new member of the Womenwurld Team. She is very excited to be a part of this club, as it is all about making positive impacts in the world today. She feels that being able to empower women and people in general, is an honorable occupation and looks forward to working with her teammates to achieve this. She loves rock climbing, listening to all types of music, and hanging out with her dog.

Sophia Kang
Sophia Kang is excited to be on the Womenwurld writing staff and goes by she/her pronouns. She enjoys reading YA fantasy and fiction and listening to the Holy Trinity: Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers, and Mitski. She hopes to empower women and nonbinary individuals and spread information about self-care through her work.

Sam Holt
Sam (she/her) is 14 years old and in the creative writing conservatory. She has two cats, Opie and Banjo. She plays piano and over the years has done soccer, fencing, basketball, taekwondo, and gymnastics. Her favorite color is cyan, she has over 50 stuffed animals her pet peeve is uncapped pens and she especially loves composting in her backyard.

AJ Gandhi
AJ (any pronouns) can be found curled up anywhere warm with one of their favorite books and a cup of hot chocolate. They enjoy indie music and alternative artists such as Mother Mother and Arctic Monkeys. They also enjoy trying any new foods that come their way, but their all time favorite dish is oysters and cocktail sauce, although they appreciate all seafood. When AJ is seen out, they can usually be caught with their friends and a cup of strawberry milk tea and boba.

Dana Kim is in the visual arts conservatory and is a 9th grader. Other than the arts she loves the outdoors.

Maizie Wade
Maizie (she/her) enjoys playing guitar, acting, songwriting, and listening to music. She is very passionate about creating an open and safe space for women, and non binary people to come together and create opportunities for those who need resources and support. She believes in elevating their voices when it comes to celebrating women empowerment. She is looking forward to writing about these stories and moments in society where womanhood is recognized through acts of service and creating new opportunities.

Allison (she/her), age 17, attends OCSA in the Visual Arts conservatory. She is passionate about spreading awareness regarding women and marginalized groups, and hopes to bring her talents to the table to aid in creating new ways to inform the general public about these issues. Her hobbies include digital art, sketchbooking, gaming, and listening to music.

Anna (she/her) is a junior at the Orange County School of the Arts in the visual arts conservatory. She joined Womenwurld in order to give back to her community and support other women in need, and she looks forward to helping to spread information for women and for people with uteruses.
